FACS Awards
To promote the advancement of Asian chemistry related fields, FACS has established a series of awards to recognize the contributions of outstanding chemists in the Asia-Pacific region. The awards comprise the earliest award, FACS Foundation Lectureship, established in 1987, Distinguished Young Chemists Award, Distinguished Contribution to Economic Advancement and Citations for Contributions to Chemistry and the Chemical Profession.
The total number of past awardees has exceeded 30 from 14 member societies. These awards have significantly contribution to technology promotion and advancement in chemistry related fields. The FACS awards were held every two years.
