1. Name and Nature of Organization
The Federation of Asian Chemical Societies is a voluntary
association of non-profit learned Societies whose membership consists of individual
qualified chemists and which are national professional chemical societies of countries in
the Asia-Pacific region. Individual chemists in the Asia-Pacific region may become
individual members of the Federation.
2. Objectives
The general objective of the Federation is to promote the
advancement of chemisiry and the interests of professional chemists in the Asia-Pacific
region in a way which does not detract from the autonomy of any of the member societies.
